Danielle Geddes is a very creative person. At the age of 14 , she started directing independent short films during her free time. She started a film studies course in college in 2008, which provided her with more knowledge on the process of film making as well as the industry. In February of 2009, Dani took a study trip to Los Angeles, where she had the opportunity to meet many people in the industry. She plans to relocate to Los Angeles in the near future. Dani is also a vocalist and pianist, and has been since she was 13. Back in 2010, she also acted in the British feature film “Ebony Road”, which releases next week. Dani is currently working on music and directing.
Dani is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and it is such a joy and honor to have her friendship and support. We can’t thank her enough for all the support she has given us, as well as taking the time to answer some questions for our spotlight. We hope her words bring a smile to your face, just as it did ours.
TTB: Why did you decide to join Team True Beauty?
DANI: I’m passionate about how people should feel good about themselves, and that everyone is beautiful inside and out. I’m more than glad to be apart of such a great support network.
TTB: What is one piece of advice you would give to people who arestruggling to see THEIR true beauty?
DANI: That you are who you are and you shouldn’t let anybody change you, not for image, entertainment, or preference. They should love you for who you are, but they can only do so when they see that you believe in yourself. You can discover your inner beauty; it may not be by the reflection that you see back in the mirror, but the words you write on paper and the impact you make on the people around you.
TTB: How do YOU describe Beauty? True Beauty? Is there a difference?
DANI: There is no difference; beauty is something that shows from the inside out. I always say my friends are beautiful for the hearts they have and the passion they give to anyone’s lives. Girls don’t have to be princesses to be beautiful. It can be pouring with rain, we could be covered in mud, and we could be experiencing the roughest day, but as long as your heart is in the right place you are more beautiful than ever. You may not feel it, but to the world you are sparkling.
TTB: What is one thing that your fans/followers/TTB supporters would besurprised to find out about you?
DANI: My followers would be surprised to know that I devote more time to everybody but myself. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in their problems that I forget to care for my own. The only reason why I do this is because I care about the people that are close to me and on days when they are not feeling beautiful about themselves I can make them realize just how much they really are. I have a huge heart for people who take the time to get to know me and if I can help in anyway, I always will.
TTB: If there is ONE thing that you can leave this spotlight with, concerning ANYTHING (funny or serious) what would it be?
DANI: I’d like everyone to know on these good or bad days that you’re worth it. I’d like you to think that a smile is the best make up you could ever think was invented. I guess it can hide just about anything and you wonder when somebody tells you you’re beautiful even though you feel like your not it’s not your best day, but the thing is what they are telling you is true. Remember there are no mistakes, only lessons. Love yourself, trust your choices, and everything is possible.
