Jennifer McGill
March 2, 2012
Jennifer McGill is a familiar name to those who watched the All New Mickey
Mouse Club, but most recently she released her debut single and joined Team True
Beauty!
Jennifer was one of three cast members on the Mickey Mouse Club that was a
part of it from season one through seven. She worked with many talented people
on the show, but her talent can't be overlooked.
Jennifer had many solos on the show, and the power and passion in her voice were something to leave the listeners with a lasting impression. After the show ended, Jennifer went to school, performed with an acapella group at Epcot, performed on a cruise, taught singing lessons, performed in church, and even had her own one woman show called "An Evening With Jennifer McGill" where she performed and answered questions from her audience.
Now she has teamed up with fellow Team True Beauty supporter, Jeff Savage, and is working on releasing her first full length solo album!
Jennifer has a heart for music, and has a heart for people. Having met her before, she is genuine and sweet, someone I am so proud to have on board here at Team True Beauty!
I've been a fan of Jennifer since the Mickey Mouse Club and have been in awe of her talent for years, after reading her answers to our spotlight questions, I have become in awe of her genuine heart as well.
TTB: Why did you decide to join Team True Beauty?
JENNIFER:True Beauty says, "...inner beauty is the most important accessory a person can have." I agree!
TTB: What is one piece of advice you would give to people who are struggling to see THEIR true beauty?
JENNIFER: You are NOT alone! Every person I know, celebrity and non-celebrity, has struggled with self confidence. Growing up in a teen TV environment, I was comparing myself to the beautiful girls around me and putting more pressure on myself to be "perfect" more than anyone else was! It took a long time to learn that God made me to do for Him what only I can do. Know and love your talents!
TTB: How do YOU describe Beauty? True Beauty? Is there a difference?
JENNIFER: There are different types of beauty, but I agree with True Beauty that inner beauty is the most important. Inner beauty never has to fade! The most beautiful people I know are generous, kind, supportive, encouraging, and FUNNY!
TTB: What is one thing that your fans/followers/TTB supporters would be surprised to find out about you?
JENNIFER: I never thought I was a "hottie" on the Mickey Mouse Club! That mentality stayed with me for many years!
TTB: If there is ONE thing that you can leave this spotlight with, concerning ANYTHING (funny or serious) what would it be?
JENNIFER: There is ALWAYS a way to think positive! There is ALWAYS room for
faith!
Thank you Jennifer for your inspiring words!
Make sure to pick up her debut single: Hangin' On For Dear Life on Amazon or iTunes!
